Message The stock trans was designed to be comfortable with the stock power level.
The stock trans slides into gear and eats up the clutches at even 400 RWHP.
The stock trans has accumulator pistons to slowly engage the next gear. The stock apply pressure is too low for extra power, the amount of fictions in the stock trans is also limiting what it can hold.
Just like a stick shift needs a higher clamp load pressure plate for more power, the auto trans also needs more pressure at a minimum.
Since you have larger turbos, your way over the capacity of a stock trans.
The ALC electronic boxes do nothing for full throttle shifts either. The ALC only changes *when* the trans gets full line rise. The actual pressure is mechanical.
The ALC only adds higher pressure at part throttle, this makes it feel like it shifts harder, but at full throttle the actual pressure is exactly the same.
